Roma Seasons Available in the Game

The current 38-0-0 Serie A data contains four AS Roma squads. Each represents a different competitive context and predicted league finish inside the simulation. Choose the era rather than assuming that every Roma roster has the same depth or target.

1991/92

A 1990s Roma roster classified in the game’s mid-table tier, with a predicted finish of sixth. Use it for a challenge where European qualification already represents an improvement.

2000/01

The elite title-winning era carries a predicted first-place finish. This is the highest-pressure version: the squad starts with championship expectations before your XI is chosen.

2007/08

A strong Roma squad with a predicted second-place finish. It offers a useful middle ground between title pressure and the freedom of an underdog run.

2021/22

A modern Roma roster classified as strong and predicted fifth. The challenge is to turn a European-place expectation into a Champions League finish or title race.

Rules for a Repeatable 38-0-0 Roma Run

  1. Choose one of the four season links and keep the default 4-3-3 formation.
  2. Select all eleven starters only from the preselected Roma roster.
  3. Keep ratings visible for the first run, then replay with ratings hidden.
  4. Simulate the complete season and record points, final position and the difference from the predicted finish.
  5. Replay the same season before changing eras, so the formation and roster remain comparable.

These rules create a consistent benchmark without pretending that one simulation proves a historical claim. Match outcomes include variation, while player availability and the selected Roma season stay fixed. The meaningful comparison is between your own repeated runs.

Start with Roma 2000/01

The 2000/01 roster is the clearest title challenge because the game predicts first place. The deep link skips the generic intro choices, selects Squad First and 4-3-3, and opens the player list for AS Roma 2000/01. You still control every selection and can restart at any time.
